From GOLF MK7 GTI to GOLF 8R, the EA888 series installed in the VAG car series 2.0TSI has continued to evolve, especially GEN3 and EVO4, which are modified engines that have not faded away in recent years. Thanks to the excellent soft and hard conditions, it is easy to obtain stronger power whether through ECU flashing or even modification.
Accurate monitoring can safely increase boost pressure
After the engine is modified, it is very important to be able to check the boost value in real time. Even though OBD2 can now read the boost pressure provided by the ECU, it is still indirect information. Therefore, using a turbo boost gauge to read the boost pressure directly through the intake manifold is definitely the most accurate and direct way.
The reserved hole is straight up, suitable for both EA888 GEN3 & EVO4
Shadow's newly developed quick-connect boost pressure adaptor is connected to the reserved hole in the original intake manifold. Use a drilling nail to cut a small hole and quickly snap it on to complete the installation. The installation is simple and fast.
Made of composite materials, stable, durable and air-tight
The body is made of a composite material of aluminum alloy and polyacetal resin, and uses double-layer reinforced O-rings and reinforced buckles. It has the advantages of high rigidity and resistance to high temperatures and pressures. It has been measured to withstand high temperatures of 175゜C and 5.0 BAR boost pressure, even if you regularly pressurize it to a high pressure exceeding 2.0 BAR, it will still be stable and leak-proof.
