The newly upgraded R-Commander 2 is specifically designed for car modification players, replacing the old single-output Honda VTEC controller. It now offers more powerful functions and a wider range of applications! Depending on the purpose, this device can accurately read engine RPM for real-time applications. For instance, it can output +12V at a set RPM to trigger solenoid valves, shift lights, over-rev lights, variable valve timing solenoids, and more.
Can be used as Shift Light or REV control switch
In the past, VTEC controllers only supported 1 to 4 cylinders. The new R-Commander 2, equipped with a high-speed processing chip, supports reading 1 to 50 cylinders or frequencies. Whether it’s ECU, ignition coil, RPM signal wire, or crankshaft position signals, it can all be converted into actual engine RPM.
Therefore, if your stock instrument cluster is damaged or insufficient, the R-Commander 2 is a viable alternative.
It’s highly versatile. If you only connect the RPM signal, it functions as a standard digital tachometer.
Multiple Output Modes to Meet Different Needs
R-Commander 2 has two channels, R1 and R2, which can be individually set with two different RPM values to trigger different output devices, making it a multi-functional tool.
It offers continuous output and three frequency options for intermittent output: fast, medium, and slow. Whether you need continuous power to control solenoid valves or flashing output for strobe lights, the R-Commander 2 meets your needs.
