Many European performance vehicles come factory-fitted with electronic exhaust valves — but valve behavior is controlled by the driving mode, not the driver. Even on vehicles equipped with a stock performance exhaust system, regulatory constraints often prevent the valve from opening fully, limiting both sound output and exhaust efficiency.

The X-FLAP OEM Exhaust Valve Controller leaves the factory system untouched and puts valve control back in your hands. Switch states directly via the included remote or mobile app, independent of the active driving mode. OEM-spec connectors throughout — no wire cutting required, removable at any time. The built-in Decode Module ensures that taking control of the valve does not interfere with the vehicle's existing systems.

Designed for the 3PIN/4PIN electronic exhaust valve motors found in most European performance vehicles, including older-generation Mercedes-Benz models using the 3PIN motor. Compatible with BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and affiliated marques — high installation flexibility across a wide range of models.

Developed specifically for the 3PIN/4PIN valve motor signal architecture used in new-generation Mercedes-Benz models. Precisely tuned to the updated control logic to eliminate compatibility issues arising from signal format differences.

Both versions support NOR (factory-follow) mode.

X-FLAP offers three control modes, switchable in real time via remote or app.

ON｜100%
The valve holds fully open regardless of the factory driving mode — suited for maximum sound output and minimum back pressure.

OFF｜0%
The valve holds fully closed. Recommended for low-RPM, low-load driving — suitable when a quieter profile is needed.

NOR｜Factory-Follow
Follows the factory ECU strategy. When the factory system restricts the valve to a half-open state — typically for regulatory or noise-control reasons — X-FLAP automatically corrects this to full open, maximizing exhaust efficiency even within factory-controlled modes. (Applicable to vehicles equipped with a variable-angle valve motor from the factory)

The default mode on startup can be configured via app: either recall the state before the last power-off, or lock in ON, OFF, or NOR.

1.Built-in Decode Module (Signal Feedback Mechanism)
X-FLAP includes a built-in signal restoration mechanism. The ECU continues to receive signals it recognizes as normal — no additional shielding device required. This effectively prevents DTC faults and warning lights from being triggered.

2.NOR Mode Partial Opening Compensation Logic
Under certain conditions, the factory system may issue a "half-open" rather than a full-open valve command. X-FLAP detects this and automatically corrects the signal to full open, keeping the exhaust system in a stable operating state during NOR mode. (Applicable to vehicles equipped with multi-position valve motors)

3.Fully Sealed Waterproof Design, Suitable for Underbody Installation
The controller housing is made from PBT GF30 engineering plastic, offering strong heat resistance and impact durability. Combined with a fully sealed weather-resistant compound, it can be mounted directly at a chassis high-point using existing factory bolt holes. No cabin wiring is required, reducing installation time and minimizing exposure to water accumulation and physical impact.

4.Plug and Play, Non-Invasive Installation
OEM-spec connectors and a modular design mean no wire cutting and no modification to the factory harness. The unit can be removed at any time, restoring the vehicle to its original state — factory warranty remains unaffected.
